Why am I downloading Sega Rally 2005 videos when I hate this series? LOL

Can someone explain that one to me please? LOL..
I hated the whole Sega Rally experience having played both versions in the arcades as well as on the Saturn and Dreamcast. I KNOW I' m gonna hate the latest edition but yet I' m rushing to download all of the videos posted here, lol..

Mmm, more Sega goodness to drink in.

The thing is, it doesn' t matter what kind of Sega media appears on this site you just feel compelled to view it even if you know you won' t buy the game.

Sadly I KNOW I' m gonna buy the game, lol.. I bought the first two.. At least with the Saturn version I had a REALLY good reason to buy it, the music was quite memorable and kicked a whole lot of a$$!!!! So with that, even if I didn' t play the game much, the game disc could double as a music CD..

The Dreamcast version on the other hand had below average, easily forgettable music and I bought that sucker at full price when it was first released in Japan. One of my two regretful Dreamcast game purchases, especially when I knew better ahead of time, lol.. Zombie Revenge was my other regret.

Because Sega Rally ownz you! It' s better than Final Fantasy 7.

LOL, That' s a tough call.. In one corner there' s my total dislike for turn-based battles. Well more like my inability to engage in them properly. And in the other corner is my dislike for the control scheme of the Sega Rally series, which can also be attributed to my inability to play Rally racers properly.

I have often said that the Sega Rally series is a GREAT series that I hate. hehe..

Zombie Revenge is on the other side of the fence cause I hate it AND I think the game stinks. ;)

Terry, do you have a hard time playing other games that are better than Final Fantasy 7 like Rallisport Challenge 2? Is it just the rally genre?

Well the first one was a strategy game with a hexagon grid for moving your forces. But naturally that evolved into a pure arcade racer which is what Sega Rally is now.

Sega Rally was the greatest arcade rally game ever developed, the Sega artistic style added to the atmosphere and it is still respected by many today.

The look and format has changed and now it shows little which disinguish itself from others on the market. Lets hope it playes well?
