I actually plan on reviewing this one, good or bad, but I'd need somebody to give me a Beta key. I got half way through my download, it flaked, and I can't repunch the code. Is some non-interested gamer gonna help a brotha' out for the sake of videogaming journalism?

How do you get a free fileplanet account? From what I've seen you have to pay

Go to FilePlanet, and go to sign up, they've got a free option.

Ok Ive typed up and deleted several thoughts on this beta but it comes out as nothign but gibberish. Someone get eddie a code so he can properly review the game. As it stands for me right now I'm on middle ground with the game. I like the destruction and ability to level an entire map if you wanted. But the weapons need to be balanced. The maps in the beta are also very very small. Considering the open endedness of the single player and the openess of GTA's mp this is very lame. I've played two modes. One a death match and the other being a capture the base type thing. Deat match is typical but the added element of destruction changes the way you play a bit. The base one has a sligth twist to it. In the begining the teams race to get the points. In order to capture them you must frist destroy the thing then rebuild them. Hard to explain how this is done as it requires certain tools to do so and honestly can be a pain sometimes.

I thin kI will firmly stand at "Red Faction's Multiplayer is pretty weak and uninspired." That's not to say that the single player will be horrid. But it's got a lot of work ahead of it to get noticed amongst the othe ropen world games out there. The ability to level any and all architecture is a definite plus and pisses in Bad Company's mouth on that aspect, I must say.

Seems not to be similar to Red Faction 2.
