The first two were Chris Columbus tripe. You didn't like the others? I take it you weren't a fan of the novels either?

Nah, it really is for kids. Get a life. Not just because it's in the realm of fantasy, the movies have weak acting and pathetic meaningless plots, obviously designed for children. I don't read the books so I can't comment, I imagine they must be better that the film atrocities. Honestly, you can't even compare it to true fantasy classics for all audiences like Snow White, Lion King, Aladdin, etc. those are real brilliant movies that a 5 year old will enjoy just as much as 40 year old, harry potter is just for the 5 year olds and no one will remember that shit 20 years from now.

true fantasy classics for all audiences like Snow White, Lion King, Aladdin, etc. I actually dislike most Disney animated movies. Fantasia was amazing, and I did rather like Aladdin, but the rest were a little too up-their-own asses with morals for me to really enjoy them. I don't like to be preached to directly when I watch something. As for it being kiddie? You're entitled to think that, but a huge amount of the Harry Potter demographic is adults. I'm just fine with childish things.... Shit, I still play with LEGOs. I don't bother with societal norms when it comes to what entertains me.

You did enjoy them, stop trying to act different to try to win an argument you already lost.

I really didn't! I'm not kidding. Simba's voice bugged me. I liked the spin-off with the merecat and Pumba. Does that count?
