Wow. Video games and real life meet. Pay $3500 to advance in gaming skills. I wonder how much magic skills cost.

It' s mot illegal to play M rated games, only to sell to minors and only in some places. I' ve seen people tutor people for X amount an hour. Even kids as young as 12 were doing it and making money.

Yeah, it' s really not illegal. Most organizations try to keep minors off mature games though, at least from the events that I have been to.

How incredibly sad, lol.. You pay all that money and they' ll probably teach you tricks on becoming decent-fair at First person shooters, something you can do on your own and for FREE by just practicing.. And to make matters worse, whatever is *learned* at what is going to be one of the world' s dumbest seminars will be limited to just that genre (they only mentioned a first-person shooter). So I guess gamers will have to cough up an additional $3500 for a session on conquering Platformers, an additional $3500 for driving games, etc. etc.

Well after you think about it a while is this really much different than something like band camp, basketball camp, or any other kind of summer camp thing? They' re teaching kids how to be better at a certain hobby that they likely will never be a professional at.

So you' ll now get girls saying: ' This one time at gamers camp I stuck a joystick up my......(insert your own choice of orrifice.)" If you want to get good at something a 2 weeks course in something is not going to help, like Terry says, practice is the only way to learn and to learn by your mistakes, what works for one person might not work for another.

Practice in the company of others is better than practicing on your own, and that applies to gaming too. You can share tactics and looks for tricks more easily. But this course is a waste of money, it' s just a scam for some gamers to get paid and pwn rich noobs. and why does the mention of joystick insertion bring up the image of a Competition Pro 5000?

$3500 -53 full-priced videogames. -70 Years of Xbox Live -A month off work. -A ' 96 Firebird Convertable -Half my year' s tuition at a real 4-year public university. fuck. that. shit. Anyway, as of right now, Fatal1ty isn' t even actively playing is he? As far as I know, he' s just a pretty face for DirecTV' s CGS. I think I' d have to shoot the parent that wasted their hard-earned money to send a kid to this.

I respect Fatal1ty and consider him very lucky to be chosen and be a pro gamer recognized world wide. But paying money to become " good" at gaming. IDTS! Practice, learning maps and knowing your weapon...did i mention lots of practice. Even in dept as time for amour to reappear, where is what, and weapon fire/ reload speeds, glitches, etc. I don' t consider myself a pro gamer but i bet i can frag any professional gamer 2 out of 10 times if given the opportunity, provide they is as god like as they say he is.
