Hah, what a topic. This got my attention!
First off, that satellite is just the registered company address far out in the sticks of Essex. There' s nothing there except for boring legal stuff required by law.
The actual Kikizo location looks like this, which is where I actually work:
A little bit busier around these parts...
As for that cash sum that was in relation to Gamerweb, 10 years ago not Kikizo. Kikizo was started from scratch on significantly less money but significantly more experience. (Segaweb/Gamerweb = 1998-2002, Kikizo = 2003-Present).
No hosting is done here, it' s all out of Seattle.
As for traffic, Alexa is wildly inaccurate in its tracking of data for all but the largest megasites, particularly geographical data, for example there is nothing like 3% Indian users (our stats have India down as 0.22% of visitors for the month of June so far, there is also only 0.7% Japanese usership, compared to North America and Europe which are obviously our vast majority markets), however it is certainly true to say that traffic has suffered over the last three months due to a LOT of reorganising behind the scenes for both Kikizo and the other properties we manage (the fruits of which are now slowly starting to appear, as you have noticed in another thread), which has meant far fewer updates for a little too long now. This is going to change a lot starting next week and throughout the rest of the summer and the rest of the year. We have some awesome exclusives lined up and now they will look nice too, rather than on the outdated old design.
