It' s a bit sad because this is by far Boll' s best movie (However...if you consider how awful his other movies are this doesn' t mean much. But Postal is at least better than complete crap like Meet the Spartans)

They were offended, that' s ridiculous. Only Americans could be offended about a movie based on a videogame. ***ing pansies... Boohoo, we lost 3000 people 7 years ago, get over it. Ten times more Americans are shot and killed by other Americans every year. More importantly, there are countries that lose that many lives due to atrocities on a regular basis. I don' t see anyone cry for them. Rambo was a good movie though. Assholes.

...It was being screened in Jersey. That' s like airing Bushes State of the Union address in Sadr City, and expecting folks to stick around to fill out a survey.

Whether the official story is a lie or not, Dylan Avery is still an idiot. I could refute every single one of his idiot claims if I felt the need. Hell... even conspiracy theorists don' t take that guy seriously.

How many of the 200 just walked out because it was shit though? I am willing to say probably more just walked out cause they were offended. Uwe' s movies, as terrible as they are, can often time be enjoyable, specially with large number of people

Uwe Boll is the award winning movie director, creator of masterpieces such as House of the Death, Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2, as well as the Postal movie you are reading about and the upcoming adaptation of the multi-million masterpiece Far Cry PS: [/sarcam]

I didn' t know who he was before you people started bitching about him either. I don' t care about directors, they' re unimportant. Tarantino, Scorsese and Spielberg are the only ones that make a difference. In any other case the actors, script and budget matter far more.

And Rampage99 was one of them and/or supports this. Notice how he hasn' t replied to this thread, yet he usually replies to 99% of them.

I would' ve walked out. His movies are trash in every sense of the world, and he simply isn' t funny, no matter how offensive his subject material may become.

Tarantino, Scorsese and Spielberg are the only ones that make a difference. In any other case the actors, script and budget matter far more. As a student of acting and actor myself, I can tell you that we are actually the least important part in a film/production. Sure, actors like Johnny Depp, Peter O' Toole, Daniel Day Lewis, Anthony Hopkins and more definitely give a flair to their characters that is not easily achieved by others. But there are millions of unemployed actors out there, some that have real talent (more so than many of the lead, yet poor mainstream actors you see now at days), yet do not have the connections (and luck) that many of the mainstream actors have had. Talented actors are out there by the buckets. A director that actually has talent (and the ability to lead a group) are few and far between. As far as the director, he is easily the most important part in a production (by production, I am only referring as bringing the script to the envisioned idea, not getting into the actual fundraising and such business things that a producer must deal with). It doesn' t matter how good your actors, script and staff are if the man running the show isn' t talented. I have seen many productions with incredible actors being brought down due to the ineptitude of the director. And having actually directed a show myself, I can tell you that a director' s job is far more than just telling someone what to do and how to do it.
