Favorite soundtrack...without a doubt Shenmue 2 there simply is no competition in that area...well at least for me

I have lots: Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy VII Loved the Metal Gear Solid Theme and The Best is Yet to Come
I like the 1' s in EA games ;P
I will give EA tracks props only for Burnout Takedown and Burnout Revenge And the theme for the MOH The NFS games only a few good tracks. (however, EA tracks music is just a compilation of band and professional artisits so  ) On that same note so too Guitar Hero... Street Fighter 2 (Industrial Album)

for external music applied to a game then the GTA series is hard to beat, but for music written specifically for a game then Shadow of the Beast is the one I' d go for.
