I Needz Your Help... - Sep 24, 2004 11:47
I am going to buy a new DVD movie for my family to view...

We currently own Shrek, Nemo, and Charolett' s Web.

What would be a good ' family' DVD to get?

Charlette' s Web 2? The first one is pretty good but in all honesty the book was better.

Finding Nemo is probably the best overall movie of the group. It' s good for kids and adults. It' s a really funny movie that you as an adult will be able to appreciate, and your kids will probably like it too.

I recommend anything Muppets - especially Muppets From Space. They are cute and clever for the kids, and have suffiecent elements to make it fun for the adults.

Seriously, Nightmare Before Christmas. If you' ve heard about it before you' ll know it' s a good choice. If not: It' s a live animated Disney movie about fictional ‘Halloween Town’. The town' s saviour Jack Skellington is charged with saving Christmas after the Boogiman kidnaps Santa. It' s got your usual Disney singing and stuff in it but with characters created by Tim Burton you can' t go wrong!

Spirited Away was pretty damn decent. I never thought of classing it as a family movie but it would suit you well. I saw it at the cinema the day it got released in the UK. Almost no Anime movies get released in the cinema over here so I just *had* to see it. There were only two other people in the entire complex though!

family film? tarantino collection. family bonding at its best. beware the cutlery.

seriously, get toy story or TS2, since u already own Pixar films, it would make a good collection. or get classics like Lord of the Rings and/or Jungle Book. Its a bare neccessity.
