Not seen the conference, but from the trailers, I' m most impressed by the Far Cry 2 trailer.

Story and main character seem appealing, and the game looks smooth and very pretty. Premise reminds me of films like Black Hawk Down, Blood Diamond and a bit of City of God even (even though the last isn' t in Africa), which kinda shows the quality of narrative games are aiming for these days. I dunno maybe I' m expecting too much, and the game will be a bog standard shootfest with an uninvolved background tacked on.

The other trailers for PoP, Beyond Good and Evil and Shaun White Snowboarding didn' t really express much about the games themselves, but make me want to find out more when its available.

I really enjoyed the first Beyond good and evil, this looks great so far, the graphics are beautiful.

Pop also looks good and the bia finally looks kike it might be getting some good work done into it.

Beyond good and evil seem to be pushing away from the distinct Day of the Tentacle style the first had, i hope thats just a tempoary tthing while they show off the engine.
