Got it, played it, liked it BUT.... it' s not much different than the last one. The graphics are a little better, a couple of new characters, but the same old, same old.

What did you expect? It' s golf...did you want the players to come equipped with shotguns this time ' round? I found it to be the perfect sequel. There were twice as many characters, twice as many courses, and twice as many challenges. There were different levels of clubs and balls this time, and the new courses were MUCH better designed; the level of imagination and creativity put into them far outpaces anything found in HSG 3. Furthermore, I found the gameplay to be spot-on in terms of realism, and it seems that they ironed out a few of the little kinks that tended to plague its predecessor. For me, so far, HSG: Fore! is everything I could' ve hoped for. Remember that it' s a SPORTS game, if you want to remain faithful to the real sport, how much can really be altered? I' ll play it at random intervals as a break from SO 3.

I agree with fathoms I think it is a great sequel Only a couple new characters? There is like 30 of them! Plus the number of courses from 3 increased by at least 100% PLUS they added mini-putt! My only complaint would be that I wish there were more mini-putt courses It' s one of the most fun games I have right now

What is mini-putt? Is that miniature golf? If so, do they include at least one full mini-putt course?

Yeah, it' s mini-golf. And there are two full 18-hole mini-golf courses that are very well designed.

Yea there are two 18 hole courses but they do not play as your typical stroke play for mini-putt (or putt-putt or miniature golf) You only get two shots per hole and you get points for how far the ball goes before going in the hole (i.e. the longer the ball is rolling the more points you get) On your first shot you can get up to 50 points but if you miss your first shot you can only get a max of 5 points on your second. It' s kind of a weird/new way to play but I like it. Makes the games vary a little bit more even if you do master the angles.

I agree with RavenShadow, it adds a different element to the game. So i can play against the pros and not get my butt whooped.
