Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Gets Pushed Back (PS2)

Atlus' RPG Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne suffers a slight delay.

By Rainier Van Autrijve | Sept. 17, 2004

It has come to our attention that Atlus' RPG Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne has been delayed from its original September 28 ship date to October 5th due to a backlog at manufacturing.

The third installment of the long-running RPG series from Atlus expands into the third dimension with designs based on those of artist Kazuma Kaneko. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne tells the tale of a high school student lost in some bizarre circumstances when creepy apocalyptic visions begin to haunt him, and it' s up to him to put a stop to it. Features include: a story system that allows players to make multi-branching choices that affects the outcome and direction of their game, and a battle engine that' s been upgraded to 3D while remaining true to its earlier 2D roots. To make things even more interesting, the US release of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne boasts all the upgraded features from the Japanese special edition known as Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniacs.

You can always just play the Japanese Sega Mega CD version. It' s in Japanese, though. But soon the entire world will speak Spanish, so games like this will no longer have a language barrier.
