It' s not convenient, but Dualshock PS3 controllers work with EU models, don' t they? It' s not like it' s an actual software issue.

For some reason, I thought these came out months ago. What on Earth could be taking so long?

There' s the logistics behind anything new being launched, and I can imagine it' d take longer to amass reasonable enough stock to launch in the EU and US... but when we get right down to it, it' s probably just Japan getting a Japanese company' s game first, and Europe getting fu.cked. Not like they shouldn' t expect it by now.

If you were Sony, wouldn' t you try and sell all those SIXAXIS controllers still stockpiled before you sent out the new model that everyone would purchase instead? Why do you think they didn' t offer any in NA over the holidays when Japan had one? It isn' t because of production, a controller is easy as hell to make, and they sure as heck could have made enough to support the demand.

I use a Japanese one for my US PS3.

Dont think everyone will get a DS3. SixAxis controllers still sell well. If someone is buying a couple of controllers to play with his friends on weekends he can just pick SixAxis ones and save some money.
