New Indy Jones Game... Doesn' t... Actually... Exist...

Well. Not in the form we thought it did at any rate.

ARSTechnica reports that the game is only now entering a real production phase, and everything prior to this was preproduction work.

They sure had me fooled.

I' m glad that was just a tech demo. That trailers gameplay moments looked awful.

They need an open world game maybe an MMO even for Lego' s. Fully physics based. You knwo so its just like you were playing with legos as a kid only now you got unlimited amount of blocks and the ability to mingle with other builders in a lego society... Such an easy idea why hasnt it been done yet?

I' d be an asshole once in a while and build a big ass lego truck and crash it into lego buildings. Yup. No real point or story just build your world and do as you want in it. Hell seeing what people do with Half-Life 2 online with that whole role playing crowd I' m sure creative minds would flock to this colorful world...

Hmmm legos I wonder is I still have mine packed away somewhere...

But yeah as I really want an Indianna Jones game done properly. With this new path Lucas Arts seems to be delving into with its tech it gonna be hard to make a lame game.

See, I would think that, but I was spoiled as a kid with possibly the most badass invention ever.

There was a company called LightTech Industries that used to make electroluminescent prop lightsabers. They had custom blade colors (Even purple!), were fully functional (I only ever heard of one being broken once), and you could either buy a premade hilt, or you could order a barebones kit, and customize your own.

They' re still around, but sadly they no longer make lightsabers. Although, if you want to see what the blades used to look like, their new site' s currently selling the lightup umbrellas from Bladerunner!
