I am ashamed to say that I still have yet to play RE4, so if this news is indeed true then that would be fantastic!!!!!

A) This is 100% fake. You don' t even need any kind of comment from Capcom to know that it' s fake. Those boxarts are beyond retarded. They didn' t even capitalize the E in Edition... B) Why would we want a spruced up remake again? Because the game is still badass, even on PC once you have the fixes and lighting & texture patch? Plus, Hunk getting his own separate storyline like Ada would be enough for some people to re-buy the game. I have the Gamecube, PS2, Wii and PC versions, although i only really play the Wii version now. The game was the best game of the previous generation and i only hope that RE5 has the same amount of content and an expanded Mercenaries mode (which is the main reason i' m still playing the game regulary).

Hadn' t really played the game on any last gen consoles...Never really liked RE always prefered things like Silent Hill. But my brother kept going on about having to try it so I bought the Wii version when it came out...and I can say why everyone says it' s one of the best if not the best game of last gen. A shame I don' t have a 360 or ps3 so won' t be playing RE5 anytime soon...might get one of those closer to the end of the life cycle. Will depend on how many games I want on one of them. it sucks not being rich

Because the game is still badass, even on PC once you have the fixes and lighting & texture patch? Of course the game is badass, that was never questioned. What I did question, is why we needed a new version. The lighting and texture pack for the PC only supports my opinion. It looks lovely as of right now, and while it' s no Crysis, why remake it? Is the difference going to be that striking? You have a fair argument with Mercenaries mode. It seriously ramped up the already solid replay value of the title. If the rumor did have some substance, I wouldn' t understand a) why a developer would rehash a game already thrice ported, and b) why they would have taken their time releasing it like this, with RE5 rumored to be hitting in early (ish) 09.

I dunno dude... it could easily be a PC mod. If not, i' d be interested to know why the TMP ammo is a different colour and has a picture of a wolf on it. Its impressive that some people are willing to go through such an effort to mislead others. I wonder if it really is true that its coming.

ORIGINAL: Abasoufiane one more vid! i don' t think a mod can do that Ofcourse it could. The debug Gamecube version could do that for heavens sake. The game was originally meant to have traditional camera angles anyway. Plus, that camera angle wouldn' t work with the game now... at all. No more distant headshots or kneecaps? No enemies on the Y axis? But still no auto lock-on? The day before Aprils Fools day i' m not taking anything seriously.

Even with all the acclaim RE4 has received over the past few years, I can' t see this being an actual release. Everyone that ever wanted to play surely has... I mean, they' ve had their fair share of chances to experience this game on the Gamecube, PS2, PC, Wii and for those in Japan you can even play it on your cell phone! If it is in fact a port in production, (Capcom loves their money; can' t blame ' em) it would have to sell for a budget price and include some small additions/ upgrades to get my attention. I walked away from the Cube version content as could be.

I dont ´know, i might consider buying it at a budget pricing, i own the GC game, but its NTSC and my wii cant load my preloader. Would be nice to expirience it again ebfore playing RE5

Good call Nitro. Thanks for having me. Been looking around for a good group of people to talk games with, and I think I may have found it.
