I don' t like this at all. EA needs to prove it can make good games with developers they already have, or create new teams before they start buying all sorts of good and well known studios.

Dead Space looks really good, i hope its lenghty, 15 hours at least.

Army of Two looks really decent, i want to play it, but a single player campaign thats 5-6 hours simply isnt good enough.

Its just the way western game companies work, Microsoft studios is a good example, it' ll be totally shit if it wasnt for buying / hiring out Big studios such as Bungie and Bizzare.

Hm, it did to me though. Except for the fact that I suspect that he intended to write " it would be totally shit if it wasn' t for etc etc" Meaning that Microsoft Studios only has some quality because of the developers they bought up.

I don' t like this though. Can' t these companies leave smaller ones alone and try to improve themselves? Mutual agreements are ok but hostile takeovers are kind of stupid. Often, employees of the company that got taken over leave anyway because of the situation.

Take Two releases as much crap as EA, they just have a few quality titles now and then, but so does EA. It means little to me

It isnt the case with a take over like this. Take Two. consists of lots of smaller devs, and they dont care whether EA or Take Two is the boss, as long as nothing changes in their every day.

Its the same for every company. For Ubisoft you got Prince of Persia. But you also got Red Steel. Konami releases Metal Gear Solid. But they also release those abysmal Yu-Gi-Oh games.

I guess is just more pronounced with EA cause they just release a lot more games than most companies.
