Motorstorm was a great game with some annoying issues [loadtimes, horrible menus, lack of content] but a sequal surely will fix those and then some, looking forward to see what they do.

MotorStorm owns. Easily one of my favourite games this gen. It has some really weak areas as Silent noted but the core gameplay and presentation is stellar.

I still have my copy of Motorstrom Great game plays great and looks great. The menus suck I am sure they will fix it on the next one.

I dont know why people think so poorly of Motor Storm and Heavenly Sword. If i havent got them free with my PS3 i wouldnt have bought them based on the very negative feedback i got here. Im glad that i did get them though, i know they are not perfect games but they are really decent ones.

That could be said, but then you would be passing off many other great titles that arrived early in a consoles life, when their libraries were small.

Regardless, Motorstorm remains my favorite off road game. It had a terrible menu system, too few options, and long load times, but the actual gameplay was excellent, and we all know how it looked.

I think a new motorstorm with more tracks, customizable cars(paint and suspension), and improved an improved interface could easily be a AAA title.

I personally believe a game like Motorstorm has a much greater chance of being a high seller than games like GT5, Forza, and PGR. The racing game market is changing, and I think that with customizing options Motorstorm could attract more hardcore racers, and improve on the casual gamers it already has.

If you weren' t fond of Resistance, pickings were pretty slim, but that' s not to discredit it as a game.

Very little. I enjoyed what little I did play, but I wasn' t sure what all the craze was about. It seemed more like a random ATV game. Of course I' ve never really been into the offroad racing genre.

Everone with a PlayStation 3 pretty much knows that Sony Computer Entertainment and Evolution Studios' MotorStorm 2 will be arriving this fall. If you want to find out more about this game, never fear because new details about this title and a teaser trailer are now available.

According to an entry on the PlayStation Blog, MotorStorm 2 has been confirmed to have 16 new multi-route tracks and 4-player split-screen mode. Up to 16 players can also race head-to-head online. From all indications, this game is shaping up to be a worthy successor of the smash hit MotorStorm.

The new trailer video, on the other hand, shows off the new features in the game such as ATVs and a new lush tropical environment. It looks really awesome, but don' t take our word for it. Check it out for yourself.

It' s still cool CG, Just think this game is going to rock. Racing on the beach will be a lot of fun.

Well rainbow studios sort of failed in my eyes with its last MX vs ATV game sooooo hopefully this will feel that void of crazy offroad action. But i really really love the massive open maps in MX vs ATV so i dunno.

Now that pissed me off!!!! Why show off a trailer for a game in CG? I see the same bloody thing whenever I see a commercial on tv for a new release, all they show is a quick little CG trailer for the game and figure that it is proper representation of the game itself. It is not, and whoever is handling the marketing needs to realize this and start putting out commercials with actual gameplay included, instead of the standard 1 minute CG video.
