EA is on a rampage of sorts buying up companies . At this rate we are going to have 2 maybe 3 major publishers . Take Two rejected the offer but its scary that EA is offering to buy all these companies ... LINK

The one good thing that would come of it, is that Firaxis would be in EA hands, which would grant them access to the Alpha Centuri license, id love to play a sequel to that game.

I dont think so . The 2K Sports brand would probably be dissolved but i guess we would then have the 2K team working on the LIVE games and i dont mind that .My problem with this deal is I feel this would put a single company incharge of too many good franchises .

The problem is none of the console manufacturers will try to counter this deal as they would obviously not want their realtions with EA to get strained . I guess this is going to happen eventually .
