I have no room to talk though, he used to really piss me off.

The problem is with advertising. Kikizo, wtf does that mean? Nothing. The average joe needs simple terms that they already recognize. With regards to the success of this free stuff givaway, the answer is simple. None of these fucks, promoted Kikizo as a source for free stuff because they didn' t want to tip the odds against themselves. If you' re giving away a set amount of merchandise every month, it' s not to anyones benefit to gaining new competition.

It was a nice gesture though.

Oh btw just to let you know I think my game got lost in the post as well as alijays. I dont mind, I picked mine as a game I didn' t really care too much about, and its certainly not the reason I post here.

Really when I was able to post here it was just for kicks, I never actually thought that I would end up getting a prize. The biggest problem with trying to get people to join is that with the good come the stupid, and nobody wants more stupid here. I know Adam is a business man and he just wants more people visiting his site, but for most of us we prefer quality over quantity. Now I am not saying we shouldn' t have new people join, but we don' t want all the morons in the world joining, so the few that make it through are nice and we don' t get overwhelmed with stupid.

I think from the majority of people on here (including all 3 of Nitro,Majik and Judge Jewdy' s alter egos.) post to to provoke a response and to see what is going on in the world of gaming, sometimes it is provactive and others just so damn right left field it is so funny. The point I am trying to make is that it is always nice to be rewarded in someway for your effort at trying to research and having the guts to post something, but I do think the majority would still post in the same number and same quality if there wasn' t a reward.

I swear that idea has been presented here before, I just can' t remember when.

We' ve got a probem with forum-user retention. There' s the small group of us that post daily like myself, the few hundred post stragglers, and then there are the people who make 1-20 posts, and then disappear. Those are the people we need to try to retain if we' re going to build the community.

While I really like the idea of myself getting free stuff, it' s not going to do anything for Kikizo, save make a devoted forumgoer that much more devoted. There needs to be a system for awarding those who don' t feel like making thousands of posts here.
