Mine was screwed up from December 27th to January 10th.

I noticed something was ***ed late december, after which promblems with my internet connection overshadowed problems with Live. I' m getting slow speeds and frequent disconnects.

Even if Live was fine I wouldn' t be able to play anyways.

It seems they' ve cited the increase in new users as the main reason. Understandable to a point but i get why a lot of people are pissed.

I' m waiting to activate my gold subscription until I' m positive I' m not going to get shafted out of any playtime.

Let' s call him Larry instead. He' s not my major and as such he can go to hell. You can tell him I said that. I don' t even have Xbox Live Gold.

The problems seem gone now. Incedently everyone is back in school and what not. It was funny in CoD4 looking at the amount of playing that game alone was almost 300,000 daily. Now with everyone gone it avgs around 80,000 a day.

It' s also exams week. That' s got a lot to do with it.

No, not really. I don' t get to play now, but I' m hoping that when I do I' ll get my full subscription' s worth, sans-lag.

Well, it was weird this past Wednesday when I was on. Some people were experiencing severe lag while others were unaffected. It did make the game unplayable when it hit me, but that was in about 2 or 3 matches out of 25. So I retreated into the warm and fuzzy safety of pursuing a high score in Space Giraffe for a while.

Live is still not fixed, I was playing a few hands of poker last night on a table I created and the live just dropped out, i know it wasn' t my connection as the wife was on the web looking at something female, she did say what it was but I wasn' t listening.

Its messing me around too, keeps failing to log in and dropping off randomly - not a major issue at the mo as I' m playing Mass Effect, but I' ll be wanting to get back to CoD soon.

M$ need to sort this out and sort it out fast, if it is down to the number of new members then someone in the Network team screwed up royally.

As i have said before I have seen problems since the first day the new update came out, everything loaded slower and it took longer to log in to XBL. I feel that there is something fundamentally wrong in the update which is putting undo strain on XBL and that it was aggravated by the fact that everyone and his brother decided to get on live while on their winter break. I can' t see this being completely fixed until they release a new update(which I suspect is what they are working on, or they should be anyway).

XBl has working fine for me since the " trouble week" however my friends still has problems with it.
