Help me import a HP Blackbird 002
-
Jan 03, 2008 06:04
O.K. So I was hoping that someone here know, how am I (whom live in Europe) supposed to buy/import a HP Blackbird 002, when Hp doesn' t ship outside of North America. I know noone whom I could give money and ask to send it as a package. So I ask if anyone here knows any place or way, (preferably safe) to import a HP Blackbird 002?

http://h20435.www2.hp.com/# Looks like... a killer machine. What can it do? Does Crysis have anything to do with this purchase?

Yeah, since I cancelled the comp I had originally intended to buy half a year ago, and since my current comp is worthless I thought it be just about the right time to get a new can in my apartment. I need it for Maya 3D rendering and Crysis, my previous comp was a HP and I never had problem with it, so I thought this beautiful, powerful machine from a brand I almost trust would do perfect for me. however as is, I just cannot seem to get my hands on it. Big time bugger, I know.

If I were an entrepreneur I' d start a company focusing only on order-importing things for people in Scandinavia. People would just have to say what they want and where to deliver it and the company would give a price tag and everyone would be happy. Just imagine, you call " Ginjirou' s Import" and say " Yo, I want this HP Blackbird 002 to my adress. I would answer " send me $XX.XX and you' ll have it within a week"

ORIGINAL: emofag ORIGINAL: Nitro Looks purdy... EDIT: but it' s a HP??? You have a Dell. And this looks far nicer than the rest of the machines that HP make, just as the Alienware and XPS range' s look far nicer than the rest of the DELL kit. So HP bought Voodoo and this is the result!?

So HP bought Voodoo and this is the result!? Well HP wanted to take a bite into the enthusiast market for a while now, is Voodoo lending their expertise? Maybe. I' m pretty sure Voodoo itself won' t go away though. Just as Alienware won' t change much. All four companies should be more efficient as they share resources. HP and DELL will control more assets but the products of these four companies likely won' t change dramatically due to the two mergers. http://www.voodoopc.com/ http://www.alienware.com/ They' re still there.

Probably gain ground on their declining market share. HP and Dell are at eachothers throats these days. It would actually surprise me if one acquired a boutique brand and the other one did nothing as a response. These are stock companies, marketshare matters for them. Besides Dell could never be able to market themselves to enthusiasts the way Alienware does.

HP is the #1 computer manufacturer, it beat dell a while ago. And they have acquired other companies like Compaq.

It is said the HP Blackbird 002 is the bestest computer out there, I provide no source, so please believe in my honest self. But really I did read some reviews and all where very positive about the Blackbird, some even going as far as saying it' s the perfect computer. And since I' m a sucker for perfect I really wanted it. Too bad I can' t get one though... Guess I' ve gotta start checking for alternatives.

Your most similar alternatives are DELL' s XPS and Alienware ranges... You' ll be able to customize the spec with both just as you would have done with the Blackbird and i highly recommend Alienware. You live in Greece right?
