I don' t care about Far Cry, though if End War turns out to be anything like Advanced Warfighter, then I' ll probably will check it out, though it doesn' t bother me if they delayed it either. I didn' t even know about the third title' s existence.

I really liked the map editor in the first Far Cry. The gameplay, though, was lacking... somewhat inconsistent controls, erratic animations and rough transitions. If they can keep the map editor and tighten up the gameplay I' ll be interested.

At least we get Vegas 2... that should make up for it.

But then, i can' t see these games bein released during the summer, so if they miss late April/ early May we' re looking at August at the very earliest.

Ubisoft' s news today wasn' t all good. Sure Assassin' s Creed is doing amazing sales and the company as a whole is picking up, but it appears they' ve decided to push back three of their triple-A titles.

Or as Ubisoft puts it they' ve " strengthened its line-up of games for next year..." EndWar, Brothers in Arms Hell' s Highway and Far Cry 2 are now all scheduled for release in fiscal 2008-09 rather than the fourth quarter of 2007-08.

This will let them push the expenses of developing those games into next year' s fiscals and push up sales for that fiscal year, from what I make of the press release. Good news for investors, but boo for gamers.

I' m sure Gearbox is going to turn out an amazing title... but damn.... I' m getting a little tired of the game getting pushed back!

Ah well, thinking on the bright side, this' ll give me a chance to secure a box before then. Now that I' m thinking about it, it' s currently irrelevant anyhow.
