That would explain the " large" number of 360' s in Japan. I wonder how that game turned out?

True . I am sure they' ll probably increase with LO. The November surge was probably due to Ace Combat 6. Not that I care, as long as everyone gets to play what they want, is all cool.

Software sales uuh. Wii Fit outsold Mario Galaxy software sales for the first week. And I kinda expected it. (What I didnt expect though was that Mario Party 09 would outsell both games in first week sales)

Mario Galaxy, a great mario game(though 64 still kicks its ass backwards and forwards IMO) is outsold by Mario Party 8, a badly reviewed, over done, rehashed concept of a decent game, and then outsold again by Wii Fit, a boring, repetetive, excuse for something that would only be exercise for a fat kid who can barely get out of bed.

I want to see the European/American sales... I am surprized the psp is selling so well infact.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Further proof that Japan is full of impotent morons. Are the US/EU numbers really that different? I thought the DS was the no.1 selling console EVERYWHERE But anyway, the DS has got lots of cool games in Japan.

Also I am pretty sure that the PS2 is not outselling the 360 in the US/UK.

PS3 had a two week, which happened to be at the same time as a Wii 2 week Dip. After that, things went back to normal: November 26 - December 2 NDS Lite - 124,591 [6,275,451] Wii - 74,764 [3,025,686] PSP - 74,626 [2,460,200] PlayStation 3 - 37,092 [971,402] PlayStation 2 - 13,703 [696,206] Xbox 360 - 6,632 [208,990] GameCube - 32 [10,429] GB Micro - 20 [27,766] GBA SP - 9 [21,826] DS> All, and rightly so. On the Subject of all things Japanese, Famitsu conducted a survey with game dealers to see which game products will be the most popular this Christmas: Wii Fit (Wii) Dragon Quest IV (NDS) NDS Lite Wii Slim PSP Nothing Layton Kyouju to Akuma no Hako (NDS) Final Fantasy IV (NDS) Game Center CX (NDS) Super Robot Taisen Original Generations Gaiden (PS2)
Currently playing: Korg DS 10 (ds) / Metal Slug 7 (ds) Rhythm Heaven (ds) / Fire Emblem (ds) Super Stardust HD (psn) / Virtua Fighter 5 (360) FSX (P

So in essence, small, cute little consoles, and rehashed versions of older succesful games are going to be the most popular in Japan?!?! Who woulda thunk it!!

I' d like to buy a GBA SP in Japan just for the sake of being one of those nine in the sales chart.

Hentai rape sims. With tentacles. Don' t forget the incest. I' m slowly coming to the conclusion that Japan doesn' t turn out better, quirkier games. They turn out weird stuff for the sake of being weird, whether good or not. This appeals to the Japanese market in the same way a shooter, good bad or otherwise, appeals at some level to the Western Market. ( Somebody bought Hour of Victory).
