Wii is a toy, says Square-Enix

Also they think Sony needs to define the PS3 better.

As a representative of the Nintendo Defence Force I will say:
He doesn' t say that he himself think that the Wii is a toy. He thinks the people who buy it think it' s a toy. This is a conclusion he has made based on the attachment rates. So in the end, Square-Enix does NOT think the Wii is a toy. It' s just a random conclusion based on sales and not actual gameplay performance.

He' d be right, most people that buy a Wii think it' s a toy. I would know.

My wii is a stand for my center channel speaker. It also helps fill in the space between my xbox and ps3.

I actually think that many of those new buyers bought it as " the next trendy electronic device" rather than a toy. Kind of like Ipod before, for example. I think Nintendo also set out to do this because I' ve heard them make comparisons between the Wii and things like Ipod. Both when it came to name and how they wanted their product to be perceived.

I think ys has a point. The Wii is the hottest electronic gizmo for people of all ages since the tamagochi .
