i like the fact that you get points by impressing your passenger with near misses, 180s, ect. i wonder if the car will be destructable?

After Burnout 3 (whoa, almost sounds like an airplane game when looking at those first 3 words there), performing near-misses will be a snap. Apparently the Out Run 2 passenger likes to live dangerously. Hopefully they will have stage 1 from the original Hang-On in there as an extra course, and maybe stage 6 from Alex Kidd in Miracle Whip. Hang-On is the world' s most bestest favorite game of all time... but only stage 1!!!

Outrun 2 features stages taken from Scud Race and Daytona USA 2.

hopefully they will be a little more.... graphically advanced than daytona usa 2 or scud race. it would be pretty sad if they just imported the levels. if they are shined up and new things are added, that would be just fine with me.

Actually considering that both games ran on Sega' s more advanced Model 3 boards (Model 3 Step 2 and Model 3 Step 1.5 respectively) I think both tracks would still look pretty good as is :)

A little added extra shine to them would certainly be a good thing! But I' ll be just as happy to just experience them in their original form with the Outrun car :)
