Ah bugger it, if i include what i have tied up in property and in the bank with my annual net income it puts me in the same bracket as you. It' s about how rich you are, so just going off an annual salary wouldn' t give a proper result.

My brother is in the same bracket, but has considerably (although it' s all relative) less money so it' s not like it' s very accurate, and people grouped together can have huge differences in their worth.

Ah but do you draw a monthly salary on your property and investments? This is what I am meaning, people can have money in accounts or tied up in businesses or whatever, but if they are not drawing a salary they can' t be included as an income.

Nitro / majik don' t think I am getting in a pissing contest with you over who is more solvent or richer or whatever, I am just saying that' s what I class as my income. If I were to take it on my ' job' then I would be around the 49,000,000 mark, I use the job to pay my tax....damn government!!!!!

I earn just over an average wage in the UK. I' m statistically at about 49 millionth, but if you minus tax and debt its more like 600 millionth. Flippin tax rapes about half of what I earn if you take into account all the different types, income, council, petrol, national insurance etc.

I need to work off about 6 years of student debts before I can start feeling guilty about not working for a Somalian orphan or Lenny Henry. Give it a couple of years.

I would love to be in a position where I was earning enough to support me and the rest of my family though.

Depends on the degree, a 7 year vet course is something like 6t o 10K a year. How do I know this my step daughter wants to be a vet!!! Like I said don' t have children.

I went to a pricey private school. But actually even public universities have been becoming ridiculously expensive. I' m currently going for a second degree and having to take out a small loan each year to help cover living expenses, in addition to my workstudy award and grants. I think it has to do with the overall right wing push to privatizing everything and making everything into a for-profit venture. Ideally I think college should be free for everyone who' s interested in it.
