I have a pretty dark sence of humor so even in the worse of situations I can find a way to joke about it and laugh. That seems to be helping me quite a bit. Of course my friends dont know how to react to my joking, but I think they are starting to understand its my way of coping with things.

I got a case for Jack Thompson to fight against. Without gaming Id probably be out reeking havoc on any ol unsuspecting person or thing.

Whatever helps you cope. I' ve always found gaming as a brilliant sort of escapism. I don' t feel violent after playing a first-person shooter. I' ve gotten all that aggression out of my system.

Why do people just stop caring?

This is only vaguely related, but has anyone noticed the general assholery that goes on around them? Maybe this is only a problem where I come from, but it seems that people are being increasingly numb and inconsiderate towards other people. Example: The sentiment among the American youth that we should just nuke the mid-east. Other Example: I was watching the news in a college admissions office waiting for an appointment, this was during the California Fires Media Frenzy, and these 2 guys across the room watching the newscast started saying things like ' Serves them for living in California.' and ' Maybe if they looked where they were building...'

I fear for all humanity.
