It was so a try. Congrats South Africa. I guess they deserved it.

Well I wouldn' t count on football over the next few years either! But hey if Lewis Hamilton can do it today, there' ll be at least one British sportsman we can use to make us feel proud!

Sh*t. Could he have been more unlucky? I cant believe the first corner, the mistake fighting Alonso, the technical fault and needing an extra unnecessary pit stop were all down to bad luck. He was 1 point off FFS! It must have been a setup. Im gonna fckn have Bernie Ecclestone raped by the gorilla from the Cadbury' s advert and use it as a remake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnzFRV1LwIo

Guys, we are a nation of chokers when it comes to the big sporting events. The Rugby team were built up in the media, so was Hamilton. But they blew it like so many before them,(Murray, Henman, Eddie the Eagle Edwards.) c' mon do you really expect us Brits to win any world trophies, when kids at school are not allowed to compete anymore? Hatton is a different kettle of fish as he has not been so built up in the media spotlight, unlike say Amir Khan (currently in court on a driving charge.)

I rate Hatton pretty highly. Buuuut, Mayweather will probably prove too technical a fighter for him. If Hatton can get in close he' ll have a good chance of wiping that rediculous smirk of the yanks face - but i kind doubt it - as much as it pains me to say it; Mayweather is the best fighter i' ve seen in recent years.

I am in the same camp as you, I just hope Hatton does himself proud.

Hadn' t even heard of these two until you mentioned them. Let me get this straight, Mayweather is 38-0 and Hatten is 43-0? And Mayweather has belts in four weight classes. Hmmm...
