Just signed up and installed.

At highest settings my current (half stripped) PC barely runs the game at 10fps.. to get it playable and steady 30 - 60fps (ish) i have to turn everything down to low..

Only a week or so till my new PC arrives

Just out of curiosity, what are your current specs?

I' m really looking foward to this one. Many of you guys say the game looks bland, and that' s a fair statement untill that is you get sucked up into an alien ship and all this crazy shit starts to happen.

the turtle and the sand look almost real , amazing stuff, but Virtua why the hell should you piss me off tonight? where the hell is your spec ? and why don' t you use Fraps so we can see exactly how many FPS on a certain screen... both will give a much meaningful information than these screens...

Are you telling me those screen shots are the lowest settings? It looks that good on low?

Holy crap this game looks very nice the detail is amazing.

The bad part is that there is no way in hell i will be able to run this game on my pc, so if someone wants to send me a better pc id be grateful(just kidding but i would definitely take one if offered), so yeah i can look at the screens and cry.

Gameplay matters the most. If I can run the game on my PC I' ll put the gameplay to the ultimate test since it' ll look like ass. But if the game really is good, and not just eye-candy, and they nailed the gameplay then it shouldn' t matter how it looks on my PC as long as the framerate is acceptable.
I' m not expecting to be blown away by the gameplay though.

Brings new meaning to the name Crytek.

I' ll be buying a new rig before buying this game. But thats not going to happen any time soon, cos Im so broke! Photorealistic virtual reality will be out by then..

Im hoping i can play it with mine, though i dont have a dual core processor. the rest of the stuff is pretty nice!

Though i have feeling it will offer little more than pretty graphics!

This is a really cool beta game so far. I like getting into the Hovercraft. However, the first time I went to the base on foot, I got mowed down by a turrent. I was like wow, I didn' t even see it coming since I was busy looking at the grass. LOL.

I gotta say, I had crysis penned as a ' all looks and no brains' but watching some multiplayer gameplay makes it look... fun.

Are Video Games like this allowed to be fun anymore??
