Update - The Ultimate Videogame Character Brawl! Round 2!

Go ayn, you know video game characters well enough now to decide who would win in a fight. I suggest we have a vote and whittle it down to who' s the daddy. Hopefully we won' t get the most popular character but one who really would destroy all others in a brawl.

Er, we need to build up a list though. Everyone post away characters you think would win in a fight then I' ll devise a way of sorting out rounds and we all vote for characters. I' ve seen it done on other forums so it should be easy enough to remember... I hope.

What about Mario? Mario would be such a kick-ass boss. Remb in Donkey Kong Jr. How he imprisoned DK. I also loved that cover for the game. That was awesome. Mario looked all mad and stuff. He is kinda a bad guy sometimes. I love the way Mario Looks when he is mad or angry. You can feel his anger.

Okay. I' ve collected all the characters together and it' s fight time. There is 36 overall but if there are any late additions I' ll sort something out for them. In the interest of fairness I' ve drawn each character out at random with my very sophisticated random drawing technique (by naming characters 1 to 36, writing down each number on a piece of paper, putting them in a bag and finally picking out numbers two numbers at a time). I have to say, some of the brackets are looking very odd but it was the luck of the draw. Here goes:

Didn' t know I was personally fighting. I mean I' m down because after I awake I make a few phone calls to Ash from Evil Dead, Ninja Turtles,the X-Men, the Bunny from Donnie Darko, and Stewie from Family Guy. In doing this I create the most ultimate cross over fight ever...Games vs Movies/TV...

DaRoosh65, who else did I miss out? I said if I' d missed any to mention them and I' ll sort something cool out ^_^ Vote in the meantime and point out some more characters. We' ll have a round 1, part 2 for the missing characters and intergrate them properly into round 2. No problem

After a frantic week of voting it' s time to announce the first round winners of the Ultimate Videogame Character Brawl! The winners have been put forward into another fight with the winner of a bracket directly next to theirs to make up round 2.

In the cases of draws (of which there were two) I' ve combined battles to create a ' Fatal 4 Way' . An outright winner of the Fatal 4 Way must be decided so pick one of the 4 as the winner. To avoid repeating a draw in the fight the character voted for first will advance over characters with the same number of votes coming later.

Also we have two late entrants itching for a scrap. Missing the initial battle Serious Sam and Kasumi battle each other for a place in round 3!

The excitement is almost too much.
