Excellent, downloaded FIFA as well, so now can compare the two.

Found Fifa 08' s ok but PES once again pisses over it IMO. And why cant EA ever give you 2 halfs? Everything feels a bit better compared to PES6. Only area Fifa wins is once again in the graphics department

Yep your right, PES is the better of the 2 on playability, be nice to see what ' extras' they have thrown in.

Downloaded the both, fifa definately looks better, but a much worse game imo. I really wish the PES demo was 2 players, thats all the Fifa demo has going for it imo.

I can agree. Everything (but the players themselfes) looks better in Fifa but damn, the gameplay is bad. On the other hand PES plays better than ever before though I hope they' ll slow down the game a tiny little bit, though. But other than that, it' s bloody brilliant. I just hope they revamped the Master League mode a bit, it' s starting to get old after years without any major change.

There is supposed to be some tweak to the master league and something called teamvision, also it is supposed to make teams adapt to your style of play, get the half time oranges and talk you through a warm down after the 90(10) mins is over.

When playing FIFA it felt like the players were wading through porridge, PES felt much more alive and easy to get into. Admittedly the graphics and as good on PES, and the players' kit doesn' t seem to sit right especially when they are on the ground - but that' s a worthwhile trade for playability. It will be good to see what they do with the Master League as that' s the bit I play most, it was good in PES4 but not so good in 6.

EA will survive until PES gets fully licensed which cant be too far away now?
