That gameplay looks sweet.. So nice. The game would be cooler it it rid itself of some of it sillynes, but i guess thats what makes it MGS

You' re talking about the last part where Johnny was found taking a dump? You can' t get rid of that man, lol, there' s no such thing as a Story without some type of comic relief. If you' re talking about Giant Bi-pedal Robots and immortal Vampires, that ain' t happening, it doesn' t seem to be as screwed up as MGS 3 though.

Anyway, from what I undertood of it and my Wapanese is very bad, seems to me like the little Girl may be Olga' s daughter, I have no idea if I' m mistaking Osaka for something else. Snake vs Liquid controlling MG' s seems pretty epic and the New Foxhound is badass. Now I need some 720p HQ action, any word on a new Demo at TGS btw? I was scared to death with Snake' s animations at GC, wonder if they fixed that.

The new MGS:GOTP looks really impressive, The Metal gear Ray/Rex looks crazy as hell, and Naomi Hunter is finally in the game in person. New faces and old are very much detailed, Yeah that little girl could be Olga' s daughter, I don' t know, you guys remember the old MGS:4 image showing Raiden holding an infant, was his mission was to protect it at all cost, strange isn' t it, for once it would be great to operate one of the metal gear' s and duke it out with Liquid snake, if it was me I' d rather choose Metal Gear Rex.

I agree with that. Same thing with the 42 mins of Mass Effect footage. Didn' t want to watch it because I know it' ll spoil a fair few things for me when I actually get the game. No wonder some people complain games are overhyped. By the time they' ve actually released them, they know 90% of all there is to know about the game, so there' s very little to be excited about.

excatly , Bioshock suffered a lot of these, i would not mind a great exposure of a racing game or fighting game, but an adventure game or rpg, that ruins it, too much screenshots, too much videos, some developers are smart and aware of that fortunatly. i think japanese developers are more tied lips than westerners...

Actually its impressive how little the 42 minutes showed. There were no real story segments in it, it mostly just detailed character customizing, and one combat scene.

I dont mind seeing videos, and i generally dont buy hype. I dont really mind seeing lots of gameplay, as long as story segments arent in it. That way i can better makeup my mind about it.

Same thing it was with the piss yellow filter a couple of years ago, I' m not sure they' ll keep it for the final ver., but I think it looks good. I' ve only noticed it in some parts of the Trailer though and none of them were gameplay.

Ruliweb plays the game, they don' t suck at it!



About time somebody plays the game and doesn' t play like an idiotron, I' m not sure it was them playing though, good watch anyway.

there are somethings i dont like about how this MGS is being developed -like the terrible american voice acting or the ridiculous, over the top battles between raiden and vamp- but i cant help to get exited about that incredible scene.

MGS4 is starting to look bettar than I had expected imo. Even though I looked forward to the game, like the rabid MGS fan I am, I thought the game looked great and all int the shown trailers, but I often started thinking about other games that excited me more. The latest trailer however made it clear, this is the game I long for the most of the games right now, I' m expecting this to be great.

This game series ending certainly mean a lot more to me than Halo, and even though it saddens me somewhat, I' m glad this is the last MGS game.

I still haven' t seen what Hideo Kojima was going on about when he said his team shouted, " Wah, now this is next-gen!" Still looks like good ol MGS to me, which is fine of course.

Im glad its the last MGS as well, although you know what Kojima is like...

I think he was talking about the Octocam feature whichlets you blend into your surroundings.

The biggest let down with MGS4 is about something Kojima said in the early stages of production. It was something about making a living game world enviorment, where flowers grew or died, depending on the weather and such. It sounded awesome! Not really neccessary for this type of game, but never the less a cool feature had it been implemented.

Oh are you kidding! Those are the charms of MGS!! And after seeing Raiden fight that jerk Vamp like that it' s making me want the game even more (like that was even possible :P)

DAMNIT Raiden' s just got SEXIER!! But I hope his voice-actor from MGS2 had had some practice ' cause in mgs2 he sounded like such a novice, like someone was just reading the dialogues from a script or something!! His voice wasn' t that bad, just the delivery! The only one among the new characters that got it right was FURTUNE!! That girls voice was just magical..

Raiden' s moves from the 7th official trailer reminded me of Gray Fox another of my fav character! I don' t think it' s over the top compared to some of the action movies out there, seeing as this IS infact an Stealth/Action adventure genre game! Besides when live human beings of flesh and blood can fight like that then why not a cyborg ninja??

Anyway I liked him in MGS2 ' cept for when the voice-over guy would go waaaa? during SOME of the AI Colonel codec cutscenes And I' m like that was soooo forced!! But other than that he was totally awesome before and he' s BETTER now! Infact he' s one of my top 5 most fav characters in mgs universe :D I just hope he doesn' t die!! Just cause other people didn' t like him the first time around Kojima' s gonna punish the rest of us too :( even the one' s that ACTUALLY liked him!! :' (

Seriously the second time i saw the trailer with Snake in Rex Vs Liquid in Ray (didn' t notice the first time) is the sole reason for me wanting MGS4, after the letdown MGS3 was. I was so blown away when i noticed " OMG Rex VS Ray!?!? NO WAI!" no words could describe it.

Now if only the PS3 had more games that i want...
