The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
-
Sep 01, 2004 15:21
Eccentric oceanographer Steve Zissou (Murray) and his motley crew - Team Zissou - find themselves in troubled waters when they attempt to track down the mysterious " jaguar shark" that ate his partner while filming a documentary of their latest adventure. Zissou must also contend with a beautiful journalist (Blanchett) assigned to write a profile, and a new member of the team who might possibly be his long-lost son (Wilson). Cast: Bill Murray (Steve Zissou), Cate Blanchett (Jane Winslett-Richardson), Owen Wilson (Ned Plimpton), Anjelica Huston (Eleanor Zissou), Willem Dafoe (Klaus Daimler), Bud Cort (Bill Ubell), Michael Gambon (Drakoulias), Jeff Goldblum (Hennessey), Noah Taylor (Wolodarsky) Director: Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket) Release Date: December 24, 2004 (nationwide) Genre: Comedy -------------------------------------------------------------------- I love Wes Anderson' s movies especially The Royal Tenenbaums, which seems liked its own genre but was labeled a pure comedy, it was a rather saddening story at times, guess it could be dark comedy. Neways this movie sounds interesting and if its along the same lines of his previous movies I dont think it' ll dissappoint.
