What Games would you like to see a new make of?
-
Sep 10, 2007 11:36
You know like what games have you played in the past that you thought were really good but they never made a sequel. Me myself would like to see a sequel to the game that was on the original Playstation call Parasite Eve.

There were both a Crimson Skies and Mechwarrior on Xbox. They were good games in there own right but they seemed over simplified compared to the PC versions. I did enjoy those games but they didn' t have the same feel as the original series.

I want Guardian Heroes on Xbox Live Arcade with HD graphics, Online Multiplayer (2p co-op/6p versus), without jaggies and extreme pixelation, with flawless framerate and some new choices when it comes to the plot, including a couple of extra endings as well as a character customisation option where you can mix oufits, magics, weapons, bodies and strengths from all the characters in the game. Oh dear I think I' m going to cry... Yep there it goes... Excuse me for a minute.

I remembered 3 old PC games that i really enjoyed. Lord of the Realms 2 (not the disaster that was Lord of the Realm 3) Knights and Merchants. Close Combat series These games with some minor gameplay tweaks & a massive graphical over haul would be awesome, although i won' t hold my breath.

Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angels could be good if done with the Unreal or Doom engine.

ORIGINAL: ginjirou Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angels could be good if done with the Unreal or Doom engine. The fact that we don' t have a Warhammer 40K Spacemarine (preferably the Ultramarines) FPS is a travesty, i' ll ignore Firewarrior because that was utter crap.

You mean like BiA like but 3rd person, that would be more fitting of the WH40k universe then a straight out FPS. I would kill for a game like that!! Its a shame they don' t listen to there fans. I love the Tabletop game but its much easier just to power up the PC then set up a WH40K game. Although Dawn of War was a step in the right direction.

Nah man, some things you just don' t touch. Grim Fandango was a work of art. If they remade the exact same game with the exact same graphics and art style but in hi-res, that would be excellent. If they changed anything else I think I' d cry.

Mechwarrior series. (Mech Commander was fine but Mech Assault defecated on the pure legacy that was Battletech.) Warlords. (Warlords III: Darklords Rising was a masterpiece but everything subsequent was trash.) Diablo. (It' s inevitably coming, but the wait is painful) Total Annihilation. (Supreme Commander, while good, just wasn' t able to capture the same thing. The scope was a little too grand, system requirements are bogus, terrain is as bland as paper, and units lack any sort of defining features. It was a major letdown for me.) Can' t think of any more at the moment. Too late for me.
