Anybody Here Hosted Or Been A Part Of A LAN Party?

They have them here in Saint Louis (duh), and from time to time have tournaments, but I have minimal exposure as a participant in two LAN parties.

Anyone else host or take part in a LAN party?

Your thoughts about them...good, bad, or dis-interested?

Been involved in afew small ones (mainly me and a few friends gather with a router and link up). That' s about it. i am not too much into PC games.

We Have HALO(xbox) LAN Parties almost every week.

We Had 20 PPL one time.But sadly u can only have 16 players.

I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, that would qualify more as system linking, rather than as a LAN party.
