From what ive heard your not missing anything, the people ive talked to said it was boring. I think RE comes out sometime in November just because it came out after AVP

DONT SEE THIS FILM!!! it was the big suck. if you imagine anything above a PG 13 MOVIE... were the fuzzy cat teams up with the stupid crosseyed dog... wait... no. JUST DONT GO SEE IT!!! it will destroy your love (as it did mine) for all aliens and predator movies. it was like a three year old made the plot for this movie. it was like a three year old wanted to add some " spice" to the avp world. but damn. did they f**** up. i mean, wacko jacko had a good idea by hanging his kid outava window compared to the idea that follows 1/2 way through this movie.

Yeah...in my opinion there are just some movies that should be handled a certain way. I' m going to be honest...it pissed me off when the lead was a woman. I know why this happened though. First and foremost Anderson said he really loved the Alien movies over the Predator ones. And finally he must have read a few of the Predator novels to get the idea about the female human Predator. I didn' t exactly like the movie but I' m hoping it did well enough to resurrect both franchises (under a new director of course).
