Not really, but among Americans, " Yankee" generally refers to someone from the North (northeast), and people from the South (southeast) call Northerners " Yankees" as something ranging from a playful dig to a vicious insult.

its a semi-derogatory term used by yanks to describe Brits, but is completely pointless because 95% of the UK has never heard of the term (it derives from when British navy ships stored limes and other citrus fruit on board to ward off scurvy (when we used to rule the world).

ugh, i studied in Italy for 1 and a half years, since then i absolutely hate the italian food, its disgustingly heavy, even tho, i loved every second there.

Sushi owns all, just so long as it' s good quality. You definately need to talk to the chef before eating anywhere dealing in the raw stuff. I' ve had some really really rank sushi before because I failed to actually talk to the " chef" .
