13:40 Metal Gear Solid home Konami is considering following in Nintendo' s footsteps by re-making some of its acclaimed back catalogue for next-gen gamers.
According to its Japanese website, the company is encouraged by the success of Nintendo' s Classic NES range and Square Enix' s Final Fantasy remakes in Japan, and is currently inviting suggestions to discover what Konami classics gamers would like to see reborn.

Just imagine - Green Beret on Xbox, Mikie on PS2 and the ultimate of all button-bashin' sports fests, Hypersports, on GBA. A veritably entertaining prospect, don' t you think?

And that' s not to forget the immortal Yie-Ar Kung Fu, either. Soul Calibur who?

Also those titles seem almost too old. I want Contra, SNES Contra, Castlevania, etc.
