ORIGINAL: Rein Oh, it' s going to happen but 360 is a closed system so we have to work with Microsoft on that.

That has me excited, hopefully I have enough time to make some levels, it would be really cool to see people playing them on 360 and PS3 as well as PC.

Mods...the only benefits with mods is that they might be free of charge which MS is against. other then that mods often sucks, in general, sure thre is some good mods out there too.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

other then that mods often sucks, in general, sure thre is some good mods out there too. Mods are always a great thing to have for any title. I remember when I played CS in its second beta phase, years before it became popular. I had people ask me why I didn' t just play HL. Well, CS is still played today............ dotA for WC3 is another great mod. Map mods for all sorts of fps and rts kick ass. Unreal has supported mods so much that they often added the most popular mods to their own packaged discs when they released collectors editions etc. I' ve been waiting for a long time to see consoles become opened up to the mod community, and I knew that it would really take form when consoles became much like computers with their own HD' s, Operating Systems and High Speed Net connections. Mods kick ass, plain and simple.

They made official map packs and mods for UT too. The developers continued to make content for the game after it was released. UT Gold came with over 100 maps and I think it came with the community made mod Chaos UT, maybe others too.

PS3 gets mods, so Microsoft ease up and allow mods too?
