If only all ps2' s bought on Ebay were like this!
-
Jul 19, 2007 09:21
From the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/norfolk/6903433.stm Police are trying to trace the owner of 65,400 euros (£44,000) mistakenly sent to a 16-year-old boy who bought a Playstation Two for £95 on eBay. The cash arrived in a box at the house in Aylsham, Norfolk, with the games console, but minus two games. Score!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine paying 95 pounds for a ps2 PLUS 44,000 pounds in cash!!! DEAL OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And those people who bought a ps3 and got a new HD TV at launch thought they got a deal .

Probably the kind of person who was expecting someone else to show up really soon looking for it.

I' d rather have 44,000 pounds (lbs) of US cash than 44,000£. Anyway, I wonder if he gave the seller positive feedback?

What a fucking pussy who reported it.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

If I got that much money packed in with a PS2 I would change my name and move to another country. They' d never find me or their money, I would disappear.

I' d rather have 44,000 pounds (lbs) of US cash than 44,000£. Anyway, I wonder if he gave the seller positive feedback? LOL my keyboard doesn' t have the UK pounds sterling symbol, only the Dollar ($). I should have said US$90,000 (the equivalent in US dollars). 44,000 pounds of US cash - i don' t think there is enough US dollars to get close to that amount! ok, what kind of person packs that much money in cash by post? I' m surprised no one at the post office stole the money!! Or the ps2!! If I got that much money packed in with a PS2 I would change my name and move to another country. They' d never find me or their money, I would disappear. I thought the same until i realised the seller might want his money back.... What a scam artist. They gipped the kid 2 PS2 games. LOL, and seller thought that giving the kid 44,000 UK pounds was enough to compensate him for not including those 2 games, the scoundrel!!

I thought the same until i realised the seller might want his money back.... Obviously they would want it back, that' s my point. I' m saying I would take off with it. I would have no guilt either. If they' re crazy enough to send that much money to a stranger they deserve to lose it. It' s not even theft, they gave it to him! If they caught me I would claim ignorance. What 44,000 pounds? I threw out the packing material. Where the fuck are my PS2 games I paid for?
