The Wiimote Lightgun Attatchment... Bleh
-
Jul 14, 2007 01:15
LINK While it looks okay asthetically, their biggest issue is going to be the lack of a stock, making aiming with both hands extended a real trip in certain games. Played RE4 on Wednesday, & while it wasn' t as bad as I thought, it was much easier to shoot from the hip than to try to hold it out like a pistol. Methinks having both arms up will only exacerbate the situation. Bleh, once I get one, I' ll probably fashion a ghetto wooden jobbie I can snap onto the end.

I rather have this control then anything else while playing a house of dead clone type of a game. But for a FPS? Come on. seriously. And the girl playing Metroid looked to have very big problems with aiming...

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

If it were any less expensive people would think it was cheap or something.

I' ve hated it since I first heard about it. Actually, I hate all the peripherals that Nintendo does, I thought the Wii-mote was going to be universally applied to everything but nooooo, Nintendo has to play it the $ way. Usually Nintendo makes good stuff but the zapper is something I could' ve done at home. I can make a better one with ice cream sticks and glue.

I think the biggest problem is the fact that your paying $20 for a piece of plastic Your forgetting about the Zapper games Pack packed with it. Think they said about 20 single / multiplayer mini-games to show of what if can do. Im really diggin RE: UC, Definately going to buy this. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21654.aspx

I have high hopes for Umbrella Chronicles, just so long as they significantly revamp the aiming system from RE4. Trying to nail a headshot with that huge cursor was excruciatingly painful.[:' (]
