A fucker sues MS about his xbox360... - Jul 11, 2007 09:42
" Jorge Brouwer has sued Microsoft, claiming the Xbox 360 scratches game discs. In the lawsuit filed yesterday, the man claimed the Xbox 360 systems are " negligently designed and manufactured."

Brouwer reported that his Xbox 360 scratched two games (Gears of War and Madden NFL 07), and that Microsoft offered to replace them for a $20 fee. He is seeking more than $5 million in damages, according to the court filing."

You gotta love these people,2 games got destroyed thus he think he is entitles to
5$million dollar.

hahaha.what a fucking retard.
I really hope people who waste the courts time likes this get sued back or has to pay a big fine for wasting everyones fucking time.

If he could prove the 360 did it to them the he should sue for around $135 and have his 360 repaired. It doesnt make much since that it only scratched 2 games though. I hear a lot of people(mostly fanboys) say that almost all the 360s scratch discs, but Ive never seen it first hand.

Yes,same here, but lets say his 360 was ***ed up and scratched 2 games, should he have 5 million dollars ?

lol why?

Someone who raped a women and then pee on her had to pay 30.000$ in damage and then go to prison.

Apparently this guy had to suffer waaaaay worse fate.

my 360 scrateched my PDZ disc, I may have tipped it or something though. Oh well, lol, not like I' m gonna play it anymore (but I swapped it with my roomate' s copy who lost his 360 cords and is too lazy to get new ones just in case).

He has every right to sue for the $120 that the console put him out, but $5 million dollars is bull. There' s trying to make off with " the man' s" money, & then there' s being a plank. He clearly falls under the secondary category.

However, I' ve got to wonder why Microsoft hasn' t done something about this. Folks on the Xbox-Scene (me included) have had scratch proof 360 drives for months, & it cost me approximately $2.50 retail for a pack of 10 sticky foam pads to pop inside my drive. I used 1. That' s 25c retail for me to fix a million dollar problem.

Fully agree.

But this guy wants 14.000 of worth xbox 360' s.
or 80.000 xbox360 games.

That is clearly just ***ing hilarious.

He had 2 games broken down so now he wants what 80.000 games cost.

SERIOUSLY WTF?!

The attorney' s fees woudn' t set him back the spare $4,900,880.

I know, I was just pointing out that he should get an extra thousand or so for that plus time spent to get settlement.

Why? Cause the F***head decided to take MS to court I mean come on. Also just to let you know the attorney fee depends on how much you get so the more you get the more they get.

Eddie thats like saying why hasn' t MS decided to fix the overall crappy design of the box altogether and the answer is simple, because that would take too much money and time. I don' t really approve of suing the f*** out of anyone even MS but if this helps MS redesign then it is well worth it in my opinion.
