Microsoft have been funding development of their games (sans ASH ofcourse) but they' re not 2nd party, they just haven' t developed for any other consoles yet. They only formed under 3 years ago.

mm,I do wonder if its smart to spread out plenty of titles for that small studio,instead of focusing on one game at a time.

Ofc I know they hire diffrent studios and direct them but still.

I read somewhere that Microsoft helped get Sakaguchi and Mistwalker off the ground to begin with. They' ve been close from day 1 so to speak. I can' t confirm the source though (read it ages ago) so take it with a grain of salt.

don' t worry i read that as well, ages ago that' s why i can' t remember any source and i' m not confident about my claims.

I think I was that source, I kept going on about it, I' m sure Sakaguchi said it in an
interview though.

Depends on the first games reception i guess. It' ll obviously sell a shitload though. The good thing about Microsoft' s userbase is the guaranteed sales for the ganes that get hyped to hell. 360 has and really impressive software attach rate, ...it' s like 5.6, not including Live Arcade games.

I' m actually hoping for an anime too...
