you gotta ask, Have Nintendo sold out? I don' t know about selling out (with this). I just see it as another of those quirky Japanese " games" . There' s an interview with a woman on that site. Something about training the facial muscles to prevent eyes, cheek etc. from hanging. I don' t know if this is actually useful though :P

while its very true that if you do some facial exercises the muscles in your face will improve and look better, I hardly think its game material. This is another one of those appeal to casual audience/different audience type games.

Yeah, it' s of course more for a mainstream audience. But I don' t think it' s totally wrong for console makers to expand the way their products can be used. As long as they don' t forget their target audience then. What I thought of first was actually : Oh, another of those quirky Japanese " games" . Since I' ve seen everything possible from there this one didn' t strike me as more odd than the rest, hehe.

I' m still not the biggest fan of picture games in general. Eyetoy never really caught my interest, & I still don' t have the 360 vision camera. I might buy it for the functionality at some point in my life, sending pics and all that but it just doesn' t seem like the best 50$ I' ll ever spend.
