Two choices

I know some or rather most of you have had problems with various consoles falling over and the like, but seriously do we have to have a comment about it in every single thread? If you are that annoyed, upset, worried, pissed off or whatever, you have the choice and the choice is get rid and go to another format. Sooner or later the company that provides the most stable console in terms of hardware and game support will win out. However pissing and moaning on a forum will not get the problem resolved, listen to the likes of Eddie and try his fixes, if it doesn' t work then ship it back get it repaired and get rid, if you are worried that yours is going to die then sell it to some unfortunate schlub, but can we just try and stop moaning about it, we know the problems exist, we know companies have been shoddy with their workmanship, just deal with it.

Actually though, on this topic, I' ve been having an " interesting" time with my box. Apparently it has one of the lesser-known error codes, so I don' t quite know what' s wrong with it yet.

If by some fluke I can' t fix it (the chances of that are very slim, as the only thing that would stop me in my tracks are actually fried components) I' m seriously considering getting a PS3.

I know you are having problems with your 360, and I wasn' t getting at you or people with issues with their 360' s, it' s just that there are some people who are dropping it into every thread they post in, it just a little tiresome.

So I take it tightening up the clamps didn' t work then?

Also I might need your expertise on a PS2 issue my boy is having at the moment, I got a few things to try but if they don' t work can I give you a shout?

Not my fault you geezers run into the internet occasionally.

I was in my box breifly today, but my dumb self lost the torx-8 bit it requires to get past the bottom of the case, and into the guts proper, so I spent 2 hours fiddling around through my casemod window.

Needless to say, it didn' t work. I' m gonna get out to the hardware store next paycheck, pick up some more thermal-paste & try the whole thing again.
