Socom 2: What is a ' Rank Up Player" ?

I was playing in a wings only room and heard someone call another player a rank up player! (What does that mean?!) Also what are these rank up rooms do?!!

I don' t mean to be offensive, but if you are a captain and don' t know what a rank upper is you must have ranked up to get there

A rank up room is when someone uses a gametype glitch causing kills and deaths both to give you better rank. There is more to it than that, but it doesn' t really matter. I' ve never been in one, don' t plan on using them. The captains only servers are totally filled with these rank up rooms nowadays

If a person plays straight and doesnt glitch/cheat, how can one know about the ' Rank UP' system?

For a person that claims not to use the ' rank up' system, it seems you know more than you should about it.

Well my answer to your question is very simple-- I have a username on the playstation message boards. Rank up rooms are a heated discussion.

You never answered my question tho...

Getting to captain was never easy. It' s even harder now if you play legit b/c of rank uppers.
