I have procured a DS...

This will be my first Nintendo handheld since the original brick grey gameboy. I will be put through some very long flights in the future and I would like some suggestions for games.

I' m open to most suggestions, but RPG' s have always been my preference. Something like a " top 10 best DS games" would be very helpful!

mario 64, new mario bros, and mario kart. Thats all i can think of right off hand. I guess you can get the new zelda when it comes out. I think i' ll rent that one before buying it though

I can probably borrow Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart and Children of Mana off a couple of mates.

Get FF Tactics when it comes out.

My favorite ds game easily is warioware touched, I think its also better than ww:smooth moves for the wii, I dont think anything will live up to the fly boss mini game for wario! class!. Another one I like is advance wars, tis a little additive, and I dont know about you but those Phoneix wright games look like alot of fun , I never played it though.

Games like Mario & Castlevania will keep you more than satisfied for long flights, while Elite Beat Agents & WarioWare are good for those short bus-rides or waiting room stints. I suggest getting one of each type of game so you' ve got something to pop in when you' ve got time to game, & when you can afford to switch it off after 30 seconds.

It' s good, but Dawn of Sorrow is better. If you like the series then both are worth buying, but if i was only recommending one it' d be Dawn of Sorrow.

I have some faint memory of playing the old ones for SNES, so i downloaded SOTN on live(My old account) and my cousin bought the Dawn of Sorrow game and it was pretty fun, but i never played the other one, but i looked at some gameplay videos on IGN and it looked good, although i didnt get the whole pentagram thing on the touch screen in the video i saw.
