No price drop for 360?

Now MS claimed elite and 360 is selling better then ever and there is clearly not a reason for a price drop.

And sure they keep selling better then ps3 but...

What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

The falling sales are probably due to the season. It' s right after christmas, and the beginning of the year is always full of bills to pay. And now the summer is coming so buying a new console now wouldn' t feel right
I' d say the sales will get slightly better after E3, the summer and then the real battle will be fought around christmas with AAA titles for all three major platforms.

It is a bit of a lull this time of year for major purchases like a console. I' m pretty sure there will be a price drop sprung October time to show a bigger financial gap with the PS3 for the xmas-present purchasing season - they should make up the loss of income from that with increased game sales.

Yes, I think you' re right. People are probably expecting one on or just after Halo3/GTAIV releases.

360 should have a price srop soon, but I doubt they will. Oh well, I guess Nintendo will never drop the price of the Wii, altough they should becuase of what they are selling really is 5 year old hardware. And ps3 will take forever to drop price but I do think it will be the first as sony know its too high.

Sony is going to try to be smart by dropping the price of their console once they can get component prices reduced as far as they feasibly can, hopefully (for them) before the holiday season. Then Microsoft will combat that by an albiet smaller price drop to make the 360 look just as affordable.

If MS was smart they would ramp up production and have a price drop in August right before the Halo 3 hype machine launches. I bet they' ll sell 5-10 million more Xbox 360' s by the end of the year regardless.

No, MS will drop the price the same amount and around the same time as Sony. Its called history: look at what happened with the PS2 and Xbox.
