First was a 17 year old chap, good student, gets an oral perfomance from a 15 year old girl willingly, gets caught by some one and he is sent to prison for sex with a minor, 2 years sentence? Why? He is nearly as old as her?

Some parents throw their 16 year old sons birthday, they allow the guests a few beers, the cops are called since minors are drinking, and the parents are sent to prison for 4 years.


Even rapists dont get 4 years here, not even pedophiles. I dont see the point in throwing people in jail for stuff like that! Insane!

The 17year-old actually got 10 years originally. Compare that with a woman who willingly shot her husband in the back while he was sleeping and freely admitted it. Her sentence? 210 days

The severity of penalties varies by state and even then can vary by city/towns within states, I' ve had friends caught with large amounts of narcotics and they get a slap in the wrist, some crappy fine and maybe have to take a class about drugs & alcohol, but you also hear of guys going to jail and getting ridiculous fines because cops found a couple of marijuana seeds in their cars.
