It was made with Splenda as opposed to the usual Aspartame, which A) has been shown to be carcinogenous (SP?), and B) tastes really weird to some people.

I thought it was pretty good, but i think it taste the same as any other grape soda. Same goes for Live Wire and Orange soda, and code red and cheerwine. I wish they still sold blue fante... because it reminds me of pepsi blue

The only soda I used to drink as a kid was Diet Dew. My dad & his friends bought tons of it, as they had to watch the sugar intake now that they weren' t running around being kids all day, so I was hooked on that from about age 3.

Now however, I refuse to drink the stuff as they changed the formula around completely. They labeled it as " Tuned up Taste!!!" , but probably should have renamed it something more befitting, like " Radiator Coolant!!!"

I hate aspartame, it makes my saliva feel thick and solidic [:' (]

... Although, i dont mind splenda if you mix sugar with it, but doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of splenda?
