Minor Question: Whatever happened to MS games being $50 while 3rd party $60?

First there was Gears and now more recentlyCrackdown, Forza 2 and Shadowrun. Then you goto Xbox.com and future MS published games are all at $60 as well such as Tenchu Z and obviously Halo 3. I' m guessing $50 is now obsolete?

What happened? Erm... they realised they could have more of those funny little green slips if they charged 60.

Well, you could get a company that' s bigger and more profitable than Microsoft to file a law... ... nevermind.

High profile games shouldn' t be $50. They could sell Halo 3 for $65 really, I' d say even $70 for NON COLLECTOR regular edition, but thats kind of pushing it.
